Alex Romza is a Patent Engineer with Avant Law Group. He uses his mechanical engineering background to help Avant’s attorneys prepare and prosecute patent applications.
Prior to joining Avant, Alex worked as a technical specialist (patent engineer) for an Am Law 200 firm. And before becoming interested in patent law, Alex aided researchers in the 3D modeling and manufacturing of shock tube designs, and in gathering data for researching newly developed fuel mixtures. He also provided engineering solutions for an industrial composite drum manufacturing line. This included 3D modeling of a pneumatic press; designing the controls for the press on the manufacturing line; and performing financial, OSHA safety, ergonomic, and energy analyses on the manufacturing process.
