Natalie Brock is a registered patent attorney and focuses her practice on intellectual property matters. She has experience working with clients across a broad range of technologies, including semiconductor devices, aerospace systems, membrane technologies, disinfecting and specialty chemicals, and mechanical systems. Before entering the practice of law, Natalie spent five years in the water treatment industry designing chemical treatment programs and the mechanical systems that delivered them, and she draws on that experience in understanding how her clients’ technologies are built and used.
Natalie helps patent clients on both fronts: securing rights and defending or asserting them once they issue. She handles patent applications from initial drafting through issuance, responds to Office Actions, and represents clients in appeals before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. On the litigation side, she works with trial teams on infringement and invalidity analyses, prepares detailed claim charts, and conducts the technical and legal research that supports contested matters. She also prepares freedom-to-operate analyses, patentability searches and opinions, and license agreements, giving clients a clear view of risk before disputes arise. Her clients range from emerging companies to established businesses managing portfolios across multiple technical disciplines.
Natalie also maintains an active trademark practice, conducting clearance searches, prosecuting domestic applications, and managing client portfolios. Her trademark work also extends to enforcement, including opposition proceedings, cease and desist letters, and litigation.
