Dr. Wangxue Deng is a patent attorney with a Ph.D. in chemical engineering. He is a former PCT patent examiner and served as the International Searching Authority on behalf of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In this role, Dr. Deng drafted written opinions and International Search Reports regarding the patentability of PCT applications.

Prior to joining Avant Law Group, Dr. Deng worked as a patent agent in an Am Law 200 firm. He has expertly prepared and prosecuted patent applications for Fortune 500 companies, prestigious universities, startups, and several international entities. Dr. Deng is also a skilled searcher, and brings his examining experience to bear in conducting clearance, invalidity, and patentability analyses.

Dr. Deng has a broad technical knowledge base. He has patent experience in various fields, including chemistry, metallurgy, consumer products, electronics, medical products, oil & gas, automobiles, aerospace, and agriculture, among others.
